In 2015, Year 7 students were welcomed with new purpose-built classrooms and modern specialist facilities.

The new building features eight general classrooms, an inclusive education classroom, a science laboratory, drama and dance studio, a staff study, staff and student toilets and landscaped areas.

Shenton College was acknowledged as exemplary by Department of Education review.
